During this two-year programme, you will be assigned to one our Business Unit’s engineering team at client locations where you will combine on-the-job learning with academic study. **This will include but is not limited to:** + Installing, testing, and inspecting industrial and commercial HVAC systems + Pre-commissioning, commissioning, and decommissioning industrial and commercial HVAC systems. + Servicing and maintaining industrial and commercial HVAC and heat pump systems. + Maintaining a logbook over the duration of the apprenticeship period, recording projects and documenting work that has been undertaken and the skills learned. + Learning and understanding the importance of Health and Safety within the workplace. + Becoming proficient in the application and use of a wide range of hand tools and associated workshop machine tools. + Learning to understand and interpret engineering drawings. + Developing the skills to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance from written and verbal instructions and drawings within an assigned trade. + Undertaking tasks as instructed, increasing overall contribution to the business unit. + Ensuring general good housekeeping of the workplace and client locations. **Who are we looking for?** **At least one of the following:** + A pass in Higher Maths or Physics. Or pass in any Higher subject (grade C or above) with National 5 Maths. + A suitable SVQ qualifications and/or experience. + NQ L6 in related subject or successful achievement of an Foundation Apprentice Engineering award. + Those with other qualifications and levels of experience within the Building Services Engineering sector. **The Application process** + Online job-focused testing + Assessment Centre (held in April) + Onsite Interview We do not sponsor visas at the Apprentice level and therefore learners on a student visa are not eligible for this programme.
