Gymnastics Private Instructor I - II Part-Time

$17.85 - $29.25 per hour

The Gymnastics Instructor position is responsible for providing private gymnastic lessons to individuals and small groups. In addition to scheduled shifts, this position is also responsible for assisting with two events per calendar year such as: Parents Night Out, Maintenance Week, Home Meets, or other special events.
Our Ideal Candidate
Will be competent in a variety of gymnastics skill progressions and spotting techniques at all levels of gymnastics including competitive, as well as competent in the use of a variety of gymnastics equipment. Will remain current on CARA Gymnastics league rules and judging guidelines. Will establish and maintain working relationships with employees and the public. Has the ability to communicate verbally with both children and adults. Must be highly motivated and take direction well with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Minimum Qualifications
Gymnastics Private Instructor I - $17.85 - $22.75 per hour
Must be at least fifteen (16) years of age. One (1) year of prior experience coaching recreational gymnastics. Current certifications in AED/CPR/First Aid or the ability to obtain such certifications within sixty (60) days of employment. Concussion recognition training is required and must be renewed annuallyGymnastics Private Instructor II - $20.85 - $29.25 per hour
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent. Three (3) years prior experience teaching and/or coaching Compulsory and Optional levels of Gymnastics is required. Current certifications in AED/CPR/First Aid or the ability to obtain such certifications within sixty (60) days of employment. Concussion recognition training is required and must be renewed annually.The job description above covers the main duties of this position.
