The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health is seeking to expand current gynecologic oncology services with the addition of a per diem Gynecologic Oncology Attending. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in order to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities Direct gynecologic oncologic care, including chemotherapy, surgery, and management of complex clinical cases Gynecologic surgical care, including minimally invasive techniquesSupport and consultation to general OBGYN physicians, including difficult benign gynecologic surgical casesExperience in radiotherapy for gynecologic malignanciesEducate and mentor residents, medical students, and junior members of the medical teamAmbulatory and inpatient duties Qualifications Board Certified in Obstetrics and GynecologyBoard Certified in Gynecology OncologyCultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient population a must
Per Diem Rate = $180.00 per hour
