Job Title: HACCP Coordinator
Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated HACCP Coordinator to join our team. This role will primarily involve coordinating HACCP processes and maintaining audit logs and records. Additionally, you will be engaged in laboratory work, environmental monitoring, and overseeing the receipt of raw materials, ensuring that the right steps are documented. You will also help train operators on basic lab testing and assist with sanitation verification.

ResponsibilitiesCoordinate HACCP processes and maintain audit logs and records.Perform laboratory work including pH testing, water activity, and bulk density measurements.Conduct environmental monitoring on a weekly basis.Carry out allergen testing and ensure sanitation processes are being followed.Work with the quality manager on PCQI (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual) tasks.Manage some purchasing activities.Oversee the receipt of raw materials, ensuring proper documentation of steps.Organize inventory and help train operators on basic lab testing.Perform ATP sanitation verification.Essential SkillsHACCP certification.Experience in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environments, preferably in the food industry.1-3 years of quality experience.Experience writing procedures/SOPs.B.S. in Life Sciences with 1-3 years of relevant experience or a high school diploma with 5-6 years of relevant experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsFlexibility to wear multiple hats in a start-up environment.Ability to help the company grow and adapt.Knowledge of the company’s flow diagram and the three key controls of HACCP (hazard analysis, critical control points, and critical limits).Work Environment

The work environment includes a clean room setting on the manufacturing floor, a lab area within the manufacturing floor, and an open office space with no individual offices. The manufacturing shifts are as follows: 1st shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., 2nd shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and 3rd shift from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Employees can look forward to accruing PTO and observing company holidays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $31.25/hr.
