Role Purpose:
· The resource will be working on Big Data related development activities involving Accumulo, SQRRL, Apache Hadoop, SOLR, HBase, Hive, PIG.
Principle accountability:-

Competencies:
Technical:
Ø Overall 10 years of IT experience with at least 3+ years of distributed database experience in Accumulo, SQRRL, Apache Hadoop, SOLR.
Ø Knowledge in Big Data related technologies and open source frameworks preferred.
Ø Understanding of the storage and retrieval techniques used for BigData
Ø Data protection from unauthorized access & disaster recovery
Ø Knowledge and use of an Agile development methodology with a proven track record of successful deliveries
Ø Experience with integration tools such as Talend is a plus.
