Position Summary

A House Person is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and general appearance of public areas and corridors of the hotel.

Responsibilities

Cleaning furniture, elevators, glass, planters, etc. in public areas such as the lobby, pool, and public restroomsSweeping and vacuuming floors, hallways, and stairwellsStocking room attendant carts with suppliesMaintaining shelf organization in the storeroomsReplenishing storerooms suppliesPulling linens from guest rooms as neededRemoving trash and dirty linens from room attendant cartsReporting maintenance problems or completing work order repairsSpot cleaning walls, carpets, light fixtures, etc.Storing room attendant carts at the end of the dayDelivering special request items such, such as cribs, to guest roomsListening and responding to guests’ requests or complaintsProviding information to guests about hotel services, facilities, and other amenitiesProviding information to guests about local attractions and services
