Position Summary

A Shuttle/Van Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting guests to/from local destinations.

Responsibilities

 Driving guests to/from local destinations (e.g. airport, business, attraction, etc.) in a company vehicle

 Driving company vehicle for company related business errands

 Assisting both arriving and departing guests with their luggage

 Inspecting, cleaning, and servicing (e.g. oil, gas, etc.) the company vehicle

 Maintaining mileage log books

 Listening and responding to guests’ requests or complaints

 Providing information to guests about hotel services, facilities, and other amenities

 Providing information to guests about local attractions and services

 Promoting hotel services, facilities, and other amenities to guests

Requirements

 Valid driver’s license and Department of Motor Vehicles Report

o Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet the required criteria for driving a company vehicle

 Strong knowledge of local area, including restaurants, attractions, etc.

 Excellent interpersonal skills

 Customer-service oriented

 Strong initiative and work ethic

 Punctual , reliable, and regular attendance

 Strong attention to detail

 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

 Excellent communication skills – verbal and written

 Ability to follow written or oral instruction given by a supervisor
