Laundry Attendant

Reports To:                         Executive Housekeeper

A Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens and towels for the hotel.

 

Pre-sorting linens to locate and salvage stained or torn linenRecording counts for discarded linensLoading and operating commercial washers and dryersFolding and stacking towels, sheets, and other linensInspecting linens for stains, tears, etc.Cleaning storerooms and laundry areaOrganizing storage areas in an efficient and effective mannerReporting equipment problems to maintenanceMaintaining appropriate guest service and work habitsPulling linens from guest rooms as neededHas a working knowledge of room attendant duties

 

Prior housekeeping/laundry experience is a plusStrong initiative and work ethicPunctual , reliable, and regular attendanceStrong attention to detailCustomer-service orientedStrong multitasking and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal skills
