About the team
HANA Cloud is the cut-edge enterprise in-memory database, as the data backbone of SAP applications and services.
We, as HANA Cloud Control Plane organization, leverage cloud native technology and manage the lifecycle of HANA Cloud, to offer customers a reliable and available database service.
The Role
As a HANA Cloud senior developer in HANA Cloud Control Plane, you take over responsibility for one or more microservices together with your teammates. Including implementation, deployment, operations, and maintenance of the microservices.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related area.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, and cloud-native development.
- Solid understanding of database knowledge.
- Proficient in Golang and Python.
- Good team player with strong English communication skills.
- Experience with Git for version control.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native database system
- Implement and manage Kubernetes operators for database lifecycle management
- Ensure high availability and reliability of database service
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.
Preffered Qualifications:
- Experience with enterprise-level database systems.
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms
Work Experience: 5 years+
