As a Hand Packager on this team, you’ll ensure their products meet the exact specifications the customers demand. You’ll inspect and prepare instruments and packaging components, apply tip protectors, close and seal enclosures, verify labels and lot codes, log packaging and order details, and help them meet production goals while upholding their rigorous quality standards. Why You Want This Position: Wage: $18/hour, depending on experience Schedule: Monday through Friday, short-term 2 months Gain valuable experience working on a variety of projects Fun and casual company environment with regular employee events during work, like company BBQs, pizza days, birthday celebrations, and more
Essential Functions and Duties: Inspect and package dental instruments and components to ensure quality and labeling accuracy Apply tip protectors, close and seal product enclosures, and prepare items for shipment Record production, packaging, and order information on required forms and batch logs Identify, remove, and report defective or incomplete products for quality review Maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and all safety guidelines Monitor component stock levels and communicate shortages or issues to supervisors
Qualifications: Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, systems, and quality standards Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for detailed work Ability to read and follow written instructions, safety guidelines, and procedure manuals Problem-solving skills with the ability to follow directions and adapt to processes Team-oriented mindset with clear communication and a focus on continuous improvement Commitment to accuracy, safety, and proper use of tools, equipment, and materials Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
