The CHT provides quality care to patients/clients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. The CHT addresses risk, provides prevention services, promotes health and wellness, and provides consultation and education. The CHT interacts and practices in collaboration with a variety of professionals, participates in professional development and learning opportunities and assists in departmental organization, growth, and planning. **Qualifications** Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy program. Has successfully passed or is eligible to sit for the Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) exam.Doctor of Occupational or Physical Therapy preferred. Demonstrated skills in the areas of organization, communication, interpersonal relations, leadership, decision making and problem solving. Prefer active participation within professional organization. Current MN License to practice Occupational or Physical Therapy or eligible for a MN License. Has successfully passed or is eligible to sit for the Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) exam.
