And of course, in your ideas to improve lives while preserving our planet’s beauty for the generations to come. **We are looking for:** The Handling Technician is responsible for the safe production, transfer and packaging of various raw materials and products for the Vernon, TX site. **We count on you for:** + Operate valves, switches, levers and other control devices. + Perform daily safety/housekeeping chores such as picking up, washing, sweeping and shoveling. + May be required to operate different types of moving equipment such as trucks and forklifts. + Provide the base for our fire and rescue squads and at times anyone may be asked and requiredto serve on these. + Ability to turn in maintenance notifications in RCS on the equipment they are responsible for during theirassigned shift. + Operate equipment, transfer and packaging of various materials, adjust and record process changes + Plant improvement team work + Training (SOPs, COPs, Active Learner, etc…) + Cleaning and housekeeping **You can count on us for:** + Long-lasting excellent customer relations, self-dependent working, and a variety of tasks in one of the world’s leading chemical companies. + Excellent training & development possibilities. **You will bring:** + High School Diploma or equivalent required + 1-2 years experience in production of chemicals preferred + Previous experience in forklift operation preferred. + Ability to work 8 to 12 hours per shift standing, moving throughout facility + Ability to communicate fluently in English + Ability to utilize a computer and associated software + Ability to lift up to 50lbs independently consistently throughout shift + Basic math skills and be able to interpret lab results to make process changes. **You will get:** + Competitive salary and benefits package + The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $22.69 per hour. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range.
