LaSante Health Center is seeking a Porter/Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment within our facility. This role involves a combination of general maintenance, repair work, and custodial duties to ensure the smooth operation of the health center. Responsibilities: + Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. + Conduct general upkeep, including painting, carpentry, and basic equipment repairs. + Ensure cleanliness and organization in common areas, offices, and patient spaces. + Assist with moving and assembling furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed. + Perform daily inspections to identify and address maintenance and safety issues. + Respond promptly to repair requests and emergencies. + Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or installations. + Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. + Keep accurate maintenance records and report issues to management. Qualifications: + Prior experience in maintenance, handyman work, or custodial services. + Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. + Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor. + Good communication and teamwork skills.
