Wage/Salary: $65,000-$70,000.  | Exempt Full-Time

 

Position Summary:

Responsible for coordinating certified training functions, developing curricula, and delivering training and leading activities for participants.

Essential Job Functions:

Able to and/or licensed to teach hard skills credentialed classes in high demand sectors, such as Custodial training, OSHA building maintenance/construction, Flaggers program, American Red Cross CPR & AED National Work Readiness Credential, National Retail Federation Certification, etc. Mastery of small group facilitation techniques and the ability to present content in each of the three learning modes Must have established and approved lesson plan with clear objectives and outcomes, set daily laying out the expectations of the day including handouts, textbooks, workbooks, web-based resources, and video Facilitators must produce dynamic, interactive workshop content Facilitators may be vocal at the start, but will hand over speaking to learners Use hands on approach to observing learners progress by observing activities closely in workshops Submit reports that are timely, accurate and complete Is punctual and dependable in making sessions and preparing for them in advance Maintains a clear written calendar of weekly classes as well as a monthly rotational schedule Writes weekly case notes for each learner, highlighting topics reviewed, participation, and progress, to be completed Fridays COB Attends weekly evaluation and training team meetings and provides feedback to Job Developers pertaining to learner employment.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in adult education, education, human relations, psychology, social work or related field. Valid Certification in hard skills track and ability to train for certification. Must possess excellent facilitating skills. Sets expectations and get results. Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel PPT. Knowledge of or experience in job development, human resources, or employer relations. Experience in workforce development. Knowledge of rehabilitation field. Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
