Danfoss in Easley, SC has an opening for a Hardturn/Hone Robodrill Operator 1st Shift. The Hardturn/Hone Robodrill Operator will perform a wide range of turning, drilling, and other similar operations on a variety of parts. At Danfoss we build high quality, state of the art hydraulic pumps and motors to achieve more with less to power agricultural and construction machinery. We engineer impact where it counts, from the farms that feed to the modern city.

Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Capable of Lathe and Robo drill machining.
Understands all the components used in hard turning, collets boring bars.
Understands the different settings available on the hard turn machine and has a firm grasp of CNC codes and reading programs.
Able to upload and download CNC programs.
Comfortable setting up a hard turn machine including collet changes and zeroing tools.
Comfortable reading engineering prints. Quickly understand what is required of hard turn process and is familiar with critical characteristics and their importance.

High School Education or GED.
Must understand dimensional requirements and the importance of producing parts that meet specification.
Must have basic math skills with the ability to calculate clearance in decimals.
