Job Description
• Function as a Subject Matter Expert and Point of Contact for providing support in the areas of end-to-end Hardware Asset Management.
• Perform the governance role in license management and conduct data quality checks in FNMS.
• Create and update various Configuration Item (CI) types related to Hardware and Software Assets in ITSM and FNMS.
• Process disposal of assets that have reached their end-of-life value in ITSM.
• Act on tickets for theft, unreturned assets, any required changes to CIs in ITSM.
• Process server decommissions in FNMS.
• Prepare various project reports as requested by client-partners and Business Unit (BU) contacts.
• Close coordination with the team lead, manager, client-partners and BU contacts to resolve service/process concerns and data discrepancies.
• Handle escalations, complex and high-risk cases, and any related concerns until closure.
• Address any process-related queries, gaps, issues, or concerns, and inform team lead, manager and client-partners, as needed.
• Perform mailbox maintenance and reporting activities.
• Support the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and drive efficiency.
• Attend process-related meetings with Business Units and client-partners and conduct cross-functional training as necessary.
• Coach and mentor junior members of the team.
• Prepare administrative reports and perform other functions as required by the Team Lead and Manager.
Background and Essential Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in any field
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in Hardware Asset Management
• Broad knowledge and understanding on Project Administration, Reporting and Delivery Support, and ITAM services
• Proficient in using ITAM Tools such as FNMS and ITSM
• Proficient in MS Office application particularly MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
• Ability to coach, train, and motivate members and evaluate their performance
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Strong analytical sense, problem-solving skills, business process understanding
• Action oriented, proactive with high level of accountability for delivering quality work across the engagement, and has the ability to assume ownership of requests/issues/problems and deliver effective resolutions with a level of urgency
• Resourceful, Flexible and Open to suggestion/s
• Efficient in time management to perform all necessary deliverables
• Flexibility in aligning shift with project requirements
