Job Title: Hardware Design Engineer Job Description Responsibilities: • Design and develop test equipment and infrastructure to support R&D activities for products. • Create detailed electrical panel schematics, system/panel layouts, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and harness schematics. • Use Altium to design and implement PCBs for test equipment. • Develop Python scripts and applications to automate test processes and controls. • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure test equipment meets electrical, mechanical, and software requirements. • Select and specify components to meet design criteria and project objectives. • Collaborate with engineering technicians and contract manufacturers to check wiring, I/O functionality, redline implementation, and configuration of test equipment. • Interact with design and firmware teams to integrate firmware/PCBs and hardware. • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with team members and cross-functional teams. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test equipment and infrastructure.
