Hardware Engineer
Teradyne are looking for a talented and experienced PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in PCB design using Cadence software, as well as a thorough knowledge of electronics industry standards and practices. Job Responsibilities + Create and develop complex PCB designs using Cadence software. + Work closely with design, manufacturing and test teams to ensure design optimization and feasibility. + Perform simulations and analyses to verify the electrical integrity and thermal performance of PCBs. + Write and maintain technical documentation associated with PCB design projects. + Participate in technical reviews and provide recommendations to improve designs. + Ensure compliance of designs with industry standards and regulations. + Resolve design and manufacturing problems in collaboration with the relevant teams. + Update and manage component libraries in Cadence software. + Provide validation support on the boards to the design team Job Qualifications and Skills + Electronics BSEE or equivalent degree + 5+ years of HW design experience. + Proven experience in PCB design using Cadence software. + Excellent understanding of PCB design principles, including signal integrity and thermal management. + Proficiency in the use of simulation and analysis software associated with PCB design. + Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical specifications. + Good communication and teamwork skills. + Knowledge of IPC and other relevant industry standards is an asset.
