Teradyne are looking for a talented and experienced Hardware/Control system engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in the analysis and modeling . Job Responsibilities + Develop electronic circuits and their tests strategies + Develop and design control algorithms for electronic systems. + Perform system analyses and model dynamic behaviors to optimize performance. + Create and test prototypes to validate the concepts. + Program microcontrollers and FPGAs to implement control algorithms. + Use simulation tools and carry out laboratory tests to evaluate system performance. + Write technical reports and design documents to ensure traceability and compliance. + Work closely with design, hardware and software teams to integrate control systems. Job Qualifications and Skills + Technical knowledge: Electronics engineering, control systems BSEE or equivalent degree + 5+ years of HW design experience. + Strong Knowledge of Analog and digital circuit design + Programming skills: Experience in C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink or VHDL. + Competence in dynamic systems analysis and control theory. + Ability to create and test electronic prototypes. + Ability to diagnose and solve complex problems. + Abillity to work effectively in a multi-geographical team environment and communicate technical information clearly + Strong knowledge of SiC/GaN device properties Current openings may involve access to export controlled technology and may be subject to export licensing requirements prior to employment.
