Your role and responsibilities

The field of mechanical design encompasses a diverse and varied range of tasks that make a significant contribution to product development and the product lifecycle across all product groups (controllers, industrial PCs, panels, drive technology, mechatronic systems).From a technology perspective, the scope includes turned and milled parts, plastic injection molding, metal casting, sheet metal components, 3D printing, and more.A key factor in our success is ensuring the highest quality of delivered components. To support this, we are looking for a motivated colleague to further establish and develop our 3D measurement technology department in a sustainable way.As the main contact person and responsible for the B&R measurement room, you will be in charge of independently creating and executing measurement tasks on 3D coordinate measuring machines (optical and tactile). Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing, verifying, and evaluating measurement results for prototypes, pre-series, and partially series production.Furthermore:•\tClose collaboration with R&D, especially with colleagues from mechanically intensive product segments•\tParticipation in the implementation of new processes and methods•\tDevelopment of clamping concepts•\tMaintenance and upkeep of measurement equipment

Qualifications for the role

Completed technical education (apprenticeship, technical school, or HTL) in the field of metrology or mechanicsCompleted metrology training and several years of professional experience (e.g., Zeiss Calypso) requiredExperience with additional measurement techniques, such as surface roughness, is an advantageKnowledge of state-of-the-art CAD programs is beneficial, ideally PTC CreoExperience in an R&D and/or quality management environment is desirableIndependent, precise, and systematic way of workingCommunicative, constructive, and team-oriented personalityInnovative mindset and strong quality awarenessProficiency in German and English, both written and spoken
