The Teradyne Hardware Engineering team for Universal Robots is looking for a highly motivated, energetic, technically driven Hardware Engineer to focus on the development of hardware systems for products within the division. Development occurs in a dynamic and challenging multi-site development environment
Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring Hardware Engineering development data are correct, meets requirement, and timely updated. Perform data processing in excel using formulas, scripting, or macros/VBA. Review parts with AVL issues (out of stock, obsolete) and provide alternative part meeting Form, Fit, and Function Create/submit Commodity Part Requests for parts needed in board schematic design. Create and process ECN's to release and/or modify designs as required. Support Design Engineers in schematic design updates or improvements. Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements. Develop standards and guidelines to ensure quality and performance. Basic Qualifications, Education & Skills Required: A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Experience in Microsoft applications, VBA, and macros in Excel is an advantage. Experience in Product Lifecycle Management system, Arena, or Teamcenter is a plus. Experience or a working knowledge in schematic and PCB design tools like Cadence Allegro, Mentor, or any other tools is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Has a high sense of urgency and analytical skills. Can work with less to no Supervision. Able to join once a weeknight Staff Meeting to collaborate with offshore teams. Willing to learn other design fields in System Electrical Engineering.
