Job Overview
As a Hardware Engineering Technician, you will be part of an R&D team developing high-speed SerDes PHYs. We are looking for a technician with practical knowledge and hands-on experience to contribute to the team.
Working in an R&D test lab environment, duties will include: PCB soldering and reworksMaintaining lab equipment in a safe, clean orderly, and operational mannerAssembling equipment according to plansMaintaining equipment calibrationCoordinating shipping, equipment/lab supply purchasing, and receiving.Using diagnostic equipment to perform testing on test platforms and silicon implementations of high-speed analog integrated circuits. RequirementsFamiliar and capable of using PCB soldering toolsCollege diploma in electronicsProficient use of Microsoft Office software toolsStrong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Other assets includeExperience with lab equipmentsSoftware programming experience (Matlab or Python)
