Within our growing Hardware Engineering community, you ll have the opportunity to work on technology focused programs within our Precision Strike and Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) businesses. Here, we turn ideas into products ranging from electro-optic and laser technologies to state of the art RF solutions that protect our nation s airborne platforms. As a Hardware Lead, you ll have opportunity to own the engineering technical, cost, and schedule aspects of our projects with the freedom to lead and shape teams consisting of talented electrical, mechanical, optical, RF, as well as firmware engineers and designers. As a Hardware Engineering Lead, you will provide project level leadership to ensure successful execution of program plans and accomplishment of engineering department goals. You ll guide teams performing research, development, and consulting assignments of a professional technical nature where extensive and diversified knowledge of hardware engineering principles and practices are necessary to successfully accomplish objectives.

This role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ BSEE or BSME with 8 years and commensurate experience leading engineering teams
+ Possess solid technical leadership practices for multi-disciplinary engineering teams engaged in the design and development of state-of-the-art electro-mechanical products
+ Team sizes may range from small to large (5, 10, to 20 )
+ Team disciplines include Mechanical (ME), Electrical (EE), Optical (EE), RF (EE), & Design Drafting (DD)
+ Proven experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring project schedules, budgets, and productivity metrics to ensure efficient team performance
+ Implementing established Hardware Engineering design processes to achieve product quality and consistency
+ Possesses sound interpersonal communication skills involving interfacing with company personnel, customers, and suppliers
+ Experience supporting new business capture and proposal teams with development of hardware engineering cost/schedule estimates
+ Capable of exercising independent discretion and judgment in the performance of engineering duties
+ Utilizes computer skills to prepare appropriate reports, documents, and presentations for internal/external distribution
+ Ability to develop and implement design solutions, processes, and systems within budget and schedule requirements
+ Experience with design and develop of products and services using state-of-the-art engineering technologies, principles, theories and concepts
+ The ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Knowledge/experience with opto-mechanical designs & developments
+ Knowledge/experience with missile seeker development
+ Experience with lasers, optics, and/or related IR technologies
+ Design of RF technologies
+ Designing for manufacturability
+ Experience with Model Based Engineering (MBE)
+ Certification for Earned Value Management System (EVMS) project management techniques
+ Current DoD Security Clearance
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $115100 - $195700
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
