You will provide technical guidance and support to your team members, ensuring that they have the resources and knowledge needed to excel in their roles. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive successful project execution by managing timelines, budgets, and resources. You will report directly to our Director of Engineering and you'll work out of our Raleigh, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge hardware solutions that address the needs of our customers. Your strong leadership and technical expertise will contribute to the overall productivity and effectiveness of the hardware engineering function. Your knowledge of hardware design principles and methodologies will ensure that the products developed by your team meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and manage a team of hardware engineers to develop and deliver high-quality products
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and efficiency

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• 6+ years of experience in hardware design and development
• Strong knowledge of hardware design principles and methodologies
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools
• Experience with hardware testing and validation
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
