Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer responsible for the hands-on integration and testing of individual antennas, phased array antennas, RF circuits, passive RF components, and RF systems. This role requires a dedicated professional with significant experience in RF testing and a commitment to advancing cutting-edge technology.
ResponsibilitiesIntegrate and test individual antennas, phased array antennas, RF circuits, passive RF components, and RF systems.Utilize commercial test equipment such as vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power meters, and signal generators.Test and characterize products that utilize advanced waveforms.Conduct temperature, shock, burn-in, and environmental testing (including MIL-STD 810G).Use Linux and develop software applications that run on Linux-based systems.Guide the testing of RF hardware for performance metrics such as VSWR, insertion loss, gain, polarization, and radar cross section (RCS).Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians during the design, build, and test phases of RF projects and programs.Essential SkillsMinimum of 5 years of hands-on RF test experience.Experience with commercial test equipment including vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power meters, and signal generators.U.S. Citizenship and a U.S. Government Secret Clearance (or higher) is required.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Communications Engineering or a related field.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience testing and characterizing products that utilize advanced waveforms.Experience with temperature, shock, burn-in, and environmental testing.Experience using Linux and developing software applications on Linux-based systems.Experience with RF hardware testing for performance metrics.Radar and satellite experience is a plus.Work Environment
The role involves working Monday to Thursday in the office, with remote work on Fridays. The work location is at COS Airport. The team focuses on cutting-edge technology designed to provide 24/7, all-weather radar capability to monitor deep space objects, enhancing space domain awareness globally and protecting critical assets such as satellites.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00
