Harvest Manager

Weyerhaeuser’s Southern Timberlands division is looking for two dedicated Harvest Managers to join our Coastal Piedmont Region team. Reporting directly to the Chattahoochee Wood Flow Manager, these roles are crucial for our operations.

Location 1: Based in Georgetown, GA, with residence expectation in Abbeville, AL.

Location 2: Based in LaGrange, GA.

Both positions involve significant travel to logging sites and extensive fieldwork focused on planning and overseeing harvesting operations.

Key Functions:

Administer contracts and implement harvesting and transportation strategies to meet planned volumes and market commitments.Verify harvest plans on-site and negotiate harvesting contracts.Supervise harvest operations and ensure contractor safety compliance.Merchandize and optimize product utilization while maintaining timely system updates.Monitor contract performance and ensure quality in thinning operations.Enforce environmental compliance and address contract noncompliance and performance issues.Manage logging road maintenance activities.

Compensation:This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $68,371 - $102,556 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Paid Time Off or Vacation:We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3 weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours
