​HARVESTING & OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR - WOODLANDS DIVISION

 

Irving Woodlands LLC, a leader in the East Coast forest products industry known for its commitment to quality products, service, and sound environmental management, is seeking a Harvesting / Operations Supervisor for our woodlands operation.

 

Qualifications:

Education Required: Forestry Degree or Trade Certification  A licensed forester is preferred Formal education/training in wood harvesting and operations  Prior work experience in an industrial forest setting is an asset. Must be able to work in the United States, as well as occasionally travel to Canada

 

Key Responsibilities:

Plan our wood harvesting plans for our Woodlands Operation in Northern Maine  . Implement forest prescriptions while following strict company environmental rules and policies. Work with contractor to execute operational plans.  Ensure safety and quality standards are followed and met. Work with the latest technologies to ensure operations are managed efficiently. Must enjoy working in an industrial forestry environment, while focusing on continuous improvement.
