Description:
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Haul materials from loading areas to designated unload areas. Haul Truck - Articulated Haul Truck: 745 Articulated Haul Truck and Volvo A456.
**WHAT YOU'll ACCOMPLISH**
+ Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas;
+ Practice and promote safety in such a way as including but not limited to:
+ Assessing risks before starting tasks;
+ Only performing authorized activities;
+ Utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
+ Communicates with load and unload areas, hauls materials safely to designated areas and maintains safe speed and observes all plant traffic controls;
+ Performs walk-around pre-trip safety inspections. Identifies any safety problems or concerns and reports any unsafe conditions to Supervisor including near misses and any other areas where safety can be improved;
+ Performs maintenance activities to ensure haul truck are maintained to the required standard and assist with other plant maintenance activities as required including site housekeeping or cleanup activities;
+ Other duties as assigned.
**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
**Required Education:** High school diploma or GED.
Experience: (2-3) years prior experience operating a very large, heavy-duty type dump-truck used to transport loads over rough terrain; Proven safety record – Holcim US prioritizes SAFETY above all; Valid drivers license
Basic computer skills;Microsoft Office;SAP.
Experience with customer service and equipment operation and maintenance.
