Position/Description Summary: This full-time position is located at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), Texas. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. The work may include Hazardous Material (HM) duties as described below. Hazardous Materials Duties: HM duties will include, but are not limited to, HM product research, evaluation and substitution recommendations; development of compliance and pollution prevention education and training materials; identifying and inventorying HM; supporting the preparation of TRI reports and other reports required by EPCRA; and supporting the HM Management Program (HMMP). Candidate will also be required to provide support and training on the EESOH-MIS database, data management, metric reporting, training, technical support for process authorizations, HMMP documentation and reporting, and other Civil Engineering/HMMP Team Lead responsibilities. Skills & Experience: Hazardous Materials + Basic working knowledge of MS Windows Operating Systems or equivalent and MS Office software packages or equivalent. + Experience with HM Management, EPCRA Reporting, and EESOH-MIS implementation. Some local travel may be required; must have reliable transportation. Knowledge of U.S. Air Force safety, health, security, and environmental policies and procedures a plus. Current military identification or CAC credentials also considered a plus.
