Internship Duration:10-week internship (May 27-August 1, 2025) About the Internship:Join a team of dedicated professionals in the Safety & Risk Management and Workers’ Compensation Unit at NCDOT. This internship offers hands-on experience in occupational safety, employee well-being, and workers’ compensation processes. You’ll gain valuable insights into the role of safety and risk management in a large organization, working closely with professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment. Focus Areas: + Business operations in safety and risk management + Drug and alcohol programs for workplace compliance + Employee safety initiatives and training + Workers’ compensation processes and support Ideal Candidate:We’re seeking a proactive individual pursuing studies in Business, Occupational Safety & Health, or related fields. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for workplace safety are essential. Experience or coursework in safety or risk management is a plus.
