Job Description: Key responsibilities of a concrete finisher: Preparing the work area: Setting up forms and ensuring they are aligned to the correct depth and pitch. Pouring concrete: Spreading and distributing freshly poured concrete evenly across the formwork. Smoothing and leveling: Using hand tools like trowels and power trowels to smooth out the concrete surface and achieve a level finish. Cutting expansion joints: Using a power saw to cut expansion joints in the concrete to control cracking. Inspecting quality: Checking the concrete for imperfections and ensuring it meets project specifications. Applying sealing compounds: Applying hardening and sealing agents to protect the concrete surface. Maintaining safety: Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures while working on the job site.
