As part of the FinTech arm of Grab, the team empowers everyday driver partners, consumers and entrepreneurs through the provision of financial services. We are responsible for all end-to-end conceptualization, design and development, and ongoing management of our lending products in the Philippines.
Get to Know the Role
The Head of Commercial for the Lending Business in the Philippines will drive commercial targets across the consumer and SME segments, defining product rollout and go-to-market strategies and working with regional product and tech counterparts to co-create future roadmap products within lending. You will maintain existing external partnerships and sourcing new partnerships to strengthen our PayLater propositions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to lead their career at the forefront of financial services.
Your role will directly report to the Director, Deliveries, Lending & Strategy. You will be based onsite at our Ortigas office with flexible work arrangements.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
You will drive commercial targets across consumer (drivers and passengers) and SME lending segments.You will manage relationships with external partners.You will source and establish new partnerships to enhance our PayLater propositions.You will collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Risk, Marketing, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and CE teams to drive strategic initiatives and tactical campaigns.You will lead discussions for opportunities and risk optimization.You will experiment and build promotional and marketing campaigns to drive business goals.You will eview campaign effectiveness with cross-functional teams to uncover applicable insights.You will ensure management reporting is accurate.You will manage the framework for engagement with customers, ensuring their needs are understood through surveys and focus groups.You will identify and drive important growth areas in collaboration with product teams, including acquisition, retention, and engagement of users.You will coordinate with regional product and tech functions to shape the future product roadmap and to grow the business through financial solutions.QualificationsWhat Essential Skills You Will Need
You have at least 10+ years financial services experience or equivalent with 7+ years in a commercial or leadership role within the financial services sector, with a focus on lending.You are from digital lending businesses.You have experience managing partnerships and driving business growth.You can translate complex analyses into actionable business insights.Additional InformationLife at Grab
