The model we are deploying is not only new to Sanofi, but new to our pharma peers. Success of this mission will mean modernizing so we can make faster decisions closer to the customers we serve. Additionally, the Head of Health Systems Outcomes will play a critical role in leading the B2B marketing strategy and innovative offerings that solve for the greatest barriers for health systems customers. Each marketer will work closely within our GTM models.
Main responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role has high visibility, decision making, as you will be responsible for representing the franchise’s interests with senior leadership and monitoring the performance of initiatives and investments. Across the Rare Disease Franchise, we have launches over the next several years and this senior role will be expected to add insights across all launches. Responsible for 7 brands, 5 TAs and 3 additional launches over the next 3 years. Working across two new and unique GTM models; one team, common goals, single mission.
The leader will create a function and skillsets new to Sanofi and could contribute across many business units.
Develop and construct the function, strategy, approach, team and bring it forward to senor leadership.
Set the strategy for health system solution innovation across our new GTM model and communicate priorities to engagement and portfolio teams.
Identifying and implementing innovative solutions to remove key barriers to delivering an integrated customer experience and expanding the patient funnel.
Prioritize B2B solution development and scaling across the portfolio (7 brands and 5 TAs) and represent the franchise’s interests to gain budget approval
Extract insights from Field and Account Engagement Teams to identify key needs by health systems and collaborate within matrix structure to develop valuable tailored solutions for health systems
Champion health system expertise and provide guidance across Rare Disease organization on how to develop effective engagement tactics, research design, and innovation hubs to best serve them
Identifying and implementing innovative solutions to remove key barriers to delivering an integrated customer experience and expanding the patient funnel for health systems, including IT solutions (e.g., EHR integrations, bespoke analytics)
Monitor and measure success of investments, incl., traditional metrics for scaling solutions and more milestone-based indicators for select innovation incubation programs
Manage and allocate yearly and quarterly budgets for Health Systems Marketing team
About you
Bachelor's degree is required and MBA is preferred
Senior marketing leadership experience with strong cross-functional skills and ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
B2B and health system engagement and/or leadership
Established Marketing and marker access skills.
Rare Disease experience that encompasses strategy and decision making.
Track record of selecting talent dense high performing teams and developing talent HCP marketing and field experience highly preferrable.
Digital-forward mindset.
Ability to travel ~ 25% within the US.
