Head, Quality Strategy and Business Process

Job Description

About This Role:
As a member of the Quality Leadership Team (QLT), this position will coordinate the development of Quality's AOP/budget, ensure consistent communication across Quality (and beyond) including preparation for governance forums, and facilitate preparation/execution/follow through of QLT meetings (weekly and F2F).  This role is also accountable for leading key innovation activities within Quality and assuring optimal approaches for project management on all major process improvement projects. Responsible for Global Quality's Internal and external communication strategy.

This role is hybrid- RTP or hybrid- Cambridge based.

What You'll Do:

Develop and communicate the long-term strategy and vision for Global Quality in collaboration with the Quality Leadership Team (QLT).Partner with the SVP and QLT to integrate functional strategies into a cohesive long-term plan and monitor progress against strategic initiatives.Craft and execute a comprehensive communication plan, both internally and externally, leveraging modern communication channels.Drive global performance improvements by sharing best practices, fostering innovation, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).Assist in the development and presentation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), budget, and reforecasting events in coordination with finance partners.Organize and facilitate leadership team meetings, ensuring effective action plans and follow-ups.Provide project management oversight for key initiatives, ensuring successful implementation across functions.Engage with IT and Corporate Quality organizations to optimize content delivery and learning management approaches.

Required Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, or similar field (or equivalent experience), with an MBA being preferred.A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a preference for quality management experience.Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills.Strong communication and influencing abilities.Proficiency in quantitative analysis and financial acumen, including budget preparation and management.Preferred experience in biotech/pharmaceutical operations or testing lab operations.Familiarity with cGMP and equivalent regulations.

Preferred Skills:

Advanced leadership and project management capabilities.Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and business process improvements.
