Site Name: Japan - Tokyo - Akasaka Posted Date: Oct 28 2024 Job Purpose Business Excellence aims to maximize business across business units Within Business Excellence, Sales Force Effectiveness team is responsible for the design, proposal, and operation of the SFI (Sales Force Incentives) and sales organization Through discussions with Business Unit Heads, Marketing, Finance, HR and Global personnel, we aim to design sales organization and SFI in line with business strategy to maximize the contribution to the business Key Responsibilities Lead the team to achieve team objectives, managing tasks and risks across the team and supporting members' development Lead discussions with Business Unit Heads, Marketing, Finance, Compliance, HR and global staff in proposing and designing Sales Organization and incentive schemes in line with business strategy Cascade SFI schemes and organization changing to the field with stakeholders Manage global and local awards for sales teams Manage vendors to calculate sales plans and results, and report monthly to the field Monitor and report to ensure that incentive design and sales organization changes are based on compliance rules *Future scope of job and working location will be determined by company. Basic Qualification Skill Effective communications and negotiation skills for variety of stakeholders, including senior managements Facilitation and project management skills to lead cross-functional team Basic knowledge and capability in data management and analysis High governance mind-set and understanding Experience People leadership, management and coaching experience Experience in a direct customer facing role (i.e. field sales, account management, sales liaison etc.), and have been involved in the medical industry High Level of English communication skills, experience of working with global counterparts. Education/certification/Language Bachelor’s degree (Business/ Medicine related/ Related discipline) Japanese: Native level / English: Basic level (written and spoken) Preferred Qualification Experience Experience in working SFE or sales planning Education/certification/Language English: Business level Why GSK?
