Amazon Services has established ISG (International Seller Growth) organization and its business function operates out of Hyderabad, having sub-functions like Leads Management, Seller Recruitment, Compliance, Listing & API Integration Services.
API Integration Services (APIIS) team enables Launch & Growth of Private Developers (Sellers) and Public developers (Integrators) by enabling readiness for API Integration and providing e2e integration support, tailored to their specific business needs. We devise solutions for business/technical challenges and provide reliable recommendations on API integration opportunities that drive SP growth. Our function has evolved significantly over time from supporting direct integration of DSR Managed SPs across Europe, Middle East, Australia & Singapore to (a) providing integration/migration support for Public Developers, (b) enabling complex strategic integrations like Smart connect, F3 (Fresh Food Fast) Store, Insurance etc., (c) enabling API Integration for AMPS Paid SPs & (d) contributing to SX improvements and API product enhancements in collaboration with Spectrum and API Product teams.
Looking for an opportunity to make a global impact? We have a leadership role, where you will be responsible for (1) Delivering an exceptional integration experience to our international developers though our existing services, (2) launch a new "API Module" to identify and drive adoption of high-impact APIs and proactively drive non-integrated sellers to adopt APIs and transform the APIIS function to an incremental revenue (iGMS) generating function and (3) Launch a new “Integrator Module” to accelerate the launch of Integrators in Emerging Marketplaces.
We are pivoting our services towards Account Management (AM) and looking for a seasoned leader with Technology, Product and AM experience to lead this transition. This role requires an individual with (1) Solid understanding of software systems and APIs, (2) solid account and program management skills, (2) ability to engage effectively with our Sellers, Integrators and senior amazon leaders, (3) excellent statistical and analytical abilities with strong attention to detail, (4) outstanding business acumen and ability to develop/deliver revenue generating initiatives and (5) establish effective partnerships with both business owners and product/tech teams.
Key job responsibilities
1. Establishing robust and scalable processes to execute and manage 2025 initiatives to improve Seller/developer experience through programmatic solutions and product/tech collaboration and working with Business Teams across the globe.
2. Establish partnerships with internal sales leaders across the world, identify opportunities to implement API Module to help resolve integration issues and take goals to generate incremental revenue (GMS).
3. Drive API AM Development, Experience & Knowledge activities, implement account management and API integration best practices and SOPs into the business development framework.
4. Collaborate with teams across Amazon to adopt/improve relevant Generative AI (LLM) models during API integration.
5. Be the Voice of the developers, developing mechanisms to collect/surface SX issues, product improvement ideas and influence product team to prioritize them in their roadmap.
6. Consolidate experience with Amazon SP-APIs and liaise with API Product teams to drive improvement of existing APIs and development of new ones.
7. Pilot new and scrappy ideas to test their viability, with the goal to improve developer experience, API footprint and revenue. Gather learnings from these experiments to influence the product roadmap and automation requirements.
8. Participate in planning meetings to understand the growth strategy, provide inputs where needed and gather ideas to improvise existing services.
9. Develop a 3-year vision and roadmap for APIIS function.
10. Manage and drive staffing plans, cost analysis, schedules, quality initiatives, process change initiatives, projects and other Change/Kaizen initiatives as required.
11. Write documents, own and drive MBR, QBR and OP discussions with WW stakeholders.
12. This is an L6 people manager role and directly manages L5s and L4s. Provide individual feedback and coaching focused on improving performance and career growth. Own Performance appraisals, goal setting, training/mentoring & attrition control.
13. Participate in hiring/building the team & raising the bar in hiring.
