The Applications Development Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a technology team to develop Credit Risk workflows in existing and future application systems and programs. The overall objective of this role is to drive applications systems design, analysis, programming and testing activities.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Manage multiple teams of Tech Leads, Solutioning Analyst, Agilist, Business Analyst, Developers y Quality Assurance Testers to deliver the roadmap of business and technology initiatives, with the support of Architecture and Project Managers. Also conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)
+ Define and manage the KPI of the league
+ Provide strategic influence and exercise control over resources, budget management and planning while monitoring end results
+ Utilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures related to Credit Risk workflows and decision engines
+ Ensure software development life cycle procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards within tools that allows business users to perform minor changes on the workflow and full control on the decision engines
+ Integrate in-depth knowledge of applications development with overall technology function to achieve established goals
+ Provide evaluative judgement based on analysis of facts in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations including drawing from internal and external sources
+ Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessary, including lending Product Heads, Business Head, agile Product Owner, Information Security officers, Architecture, Vulnerability Assessment team, and internal approval committees
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
+ Manage the budget and financials for the league
+ Manage the control issues and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs)
+ Make the technology strategic recommendations for the Business Head, Product Owner and other participants inside and outside the league, as well as the solutioning to specific epics and user stories
**Qualifications:**
+ 10+ years of relevant experience
+ Experience in applications development
+ Experience in management
+ Experience managing global technology teams
+ Working knowledge of industry practices and standards
+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
+ Extensive knowledge of the following applications: Fico Triad, Fico Blaze, Fico APM, Fico DM, Mexico credit bureaus, black list solutions, screening list and others
+ Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence and PTS tools
+ Understand the Flow of user stories and epics, and and build agile dashboard to manage them
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
+ Master’s degree preferred
