Purpose / Objective:

Enhance efficiency & effectiveness of AVSEC training within the Airports business, by providing managerial support and lead the AVSEC training section by applying innovative ideas to delivery and facilitation of AVSEC training modules in with NCASTP of India. Other activities include managing training department and optimum utilization of human, financial, material resources. Establishment and operation of AIAL- ASTI within the prescribed time frame and ensure smooth functioning of the establishment. Undertake projects involving compliance and learning promoting activates have interface with several functions.

Enhance efficiency & effectiveness of AVSEC training within the Airports business, by providing managerial support and lead the AVSEC training section by applying innovative ideas to delivery and facilitation of AVSEC training modules in with NCASTP of India. Other activities include managing training department and optimum utilization of human, financial, material resources. Establishment and operation of AIAL- ASTI within the prescribed time frame and ensure smooth functioning of the establishment. Undertake projects involving compliance and learning promoting activates have interface with several functions. Support the BU to drive the strategic initiatives with regards to AVSEC training and update all approved course material as per the strict guidelines of the mandatory conditions and syllabi enshrined within the regulatory family of documents.Ensure in house AVSEC training material is duly approved, develop AVSEC Training programme and compliance with the training methodologies are adhered to in standardized format across all assets under Airports business.Maintain AVSEC training data and records of all associated matters pertaining to Security and contribute significantly to improve upon the existing methods to generate revenue options for the Group using innovative and creative solutions.Special assignments (special time bound tasks from Senior management and Associated teams related to Policy matters, engagements with internal and external stakeholders etc.)Support cross functional teams at an organizational level towards achievement of L&D goals. Work Optimization to achieve Group goals and completion of tasks delegated by the VSHLead and operate Ahmedabad ASTI and ensure trainings imparted as per BCAS calendar and regulatory guidelines. Graduate or a Bachelor’s degree in L&D or SecurityMaster’s Degree will be preferred.Valid BCAS AVSEC Instructor Certification15+ years’ experience, preferably a mix between Security operations and Training with at least 5 years at a Managerial position in a leading aviation organization.Aviation industry experience is a must.Past experience to include:Exposure to Screeners Training and Certification.Deployment of multiple Screening technologies and methodologies including but not limited to In-Line Baggage Screening Systems, ETD training standards, hostile/disruptive situation disengagement skills training,Demonstrable experience in formulation of training programs with pedagogical learning principles and with a strategic mindset having cross functional elements duly incorporated within, having the understanding and appreciation of various tools and frameworks used for deployment in AVSEC training
