About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Head Bartender position to join our F&B Department in Jumeirah Mallorca.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

Oversee beverage presentation, stock control, pricing policies, list maintenance, and display standards across all outlets. Ensure guest satisfaction by providing accurate product information, addressing requests and complaints, and upholding service quality. Manage wine and spirit inventories, requisitions, daily stock reviews, spoilage reports, and secure storage in compliance with hotel procedures. Train and evaluate beverage service staff, monitor their progress, and enhance their sales techniques to improve service quality. Develop sales strategies, implement promotional activities, and encourage upselling to maximize revenue. Ensure adherence to health, hygiene, and safety standards while managing operational briefings, daily tasks, and banquet alcohol functions.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Qualification & Experience:

•    Basic food and hygiene training – Essential
•    Previous management courses and training
•    Minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar type of establishment – Essential
 

Skills

•    Excellent level of English. Preferably other languages as well. 
•    Friendly, approachable and professional personality attributes
•    Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Micros 
•    Excellent customer care skills and fit to work under pressure
•    Flexible and excellent supervisory and leadership skills
