Ready to Make an impact? This position is responsible for training, coaching and developing cashiers to ensure customer receive outstanding and quick checkout service. B ensuring the efficient operation of the registers, influencing and supporting the cashier team, expediting price checks and identifying high shrink items. Here’s where you’ll be focusing: + Supervise, hire and train cashiers + Schedule writing + Perform various cash office duties + Greet customers + Process cash register payments by cash, cheque, credit card and debit + Wrap and place merchandise in bags + Balance and reconcile cash an end of work shift + Maintain cleanliness of check stands + Complete price changes What you have to offer: + Some secondary school preferred + Minimum 1 year of Cash Office experience + Supervisory experience preferred by not required + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs + Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills + Available to work flexible hours + Ability to work in a fast paced environment The position is unionized and pay scale is in accordance with the current Collective Bargaining Agreement. Plus applicable premiums and incentives currently available to eligible teammates in this location.
