Head Chocolate Roasting Specialist (M/F)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an international client seeking an experienced and highly skilled Head Chocolate Roasting Specialist to lead the entire chocolate production process, from cocoa bean roasting to the final finished product. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the final chocolate product exceeds international quality standards and is of superior quality compared to global brands.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the cocoa bean roasting process, from the selection of raw cocoa beans to the creation of the finished chocolate product. Ensure the production process maintains the highest quality standards, surpassing international chocolate brands. Select and source the necessary raw materials to ensure the success of the project and the final product. Establish, implement, and maintain the necessary operations within the department to ensure the smooth functioning of the production lines. Manage the team and provide them with continuous training and support to ensure operational excellence.

Contract Details:

The contract is for a duration of 1 year, renewable based on performance. The selected candidate must be based in Europe but required to be present in Saudi Arabia during the initial setup period to establish and ensure the proper setup and functionality of the department. After successfully overseeing the machine operations and ensuring the proper functioning of the process with the team, the Head Specialist may supervise remote operations from Europe.

Travel & Logistics:

The candidate will be required to travel to Saudi Arabia for the initial setup and then make 3 annual visits to the factory to ensure continuous monitoring of operations. The company will cover airfare (selected by the company), transportation, accommodation (suitable for the distance from the workplace), and insurance for the duration of the assignment.

 

Performance Monitoring & Visits:

The Head Specialist is expected to make 3 annual visits to the factory after the initial setup period. These visits will focus on monitoring the team’s performance, ensuring the smooth running of the department, and addressing any requests made by the client.

Candidate Requirements:

Extensive experience in cocoa bean roasting and chocolate production. Strong leadership and team management skills. A commitment to maintaining exceptional product quality. Ability to adapt and oversee production operations remotely from Europe, with periodic visits to Saudi Arabia.
