The head coach for men’s and women’s swimming and diving program is responsible for the organization and administration of both programs. Reporting to the director of athletics, this 12-month, full-time, benefits-eligible position provides

An excellent opportunity to mentor and empower student-athletes to be their best selves on and off the field; and The ability to build up and build upon positive relationships with prospective student-athletes and their families, colleagues, alumni, donors, and the greater Kalamazoo community.

Supported by an experienced athletic training team and a knowledgeable strength and conditioning coaching staff, this eager team is excited for their next head coach.

In addition to the above, responsibilities include

Previous coaching experience with a minimum of five years preferred; A commitment to the student-athlete experience; Evidence of strong organizational and effective communication skills; Current knowledge of NCAA and MIAA regulations; Ability to successfully recruit college-level student-athletes; Evidence of a commitment to academic excellence; Ability to interact effectively with student-athletes, colleagues, and alumni; Capable and willing to actively plan and participate in fundraising, promotions, and other similar endeavors as they relate to the swim and dive program and the entire Athletics Department.
