**Job Description**
Anoka-Ramsey Community College is seeking applications to establish candidate pools for potential Basketball Coaching opportunities.
The primary responsibilities include providing leadership and direction for the basketball program and ensuring compliance with college and conference regulations. The individual will be responsible for directing all facets of the program including, but not limited to, recruiting, scheduling, budgeting, public relations and instructing, evaluating, and monitoring student-athletes academics. This individual will participate in department, conference, regional, national, and college wide meetings and perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
Coon Rapids will serve as the home campus. This posting will be open until filled, however, the first round of interviews will begin around the beginning of May.
This posting will remain open through June 30, 2025, to allow departments’ access to candidate pools when there is a need to hire an adjunct to teach a course(s) during defined academic semester(s).
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Basketball coaching or playing experience at the college level
+ Ability to supervise sports activities for a diverse population
+ Effective organizational skills sufficient to run the basketball program
+ Interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to present information to the general public, parents, students, and the college community
**Preferred Qualification**
+ Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree
+ Knowledge of National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) policies and regulations
+ Prior experience recruiting college student-athletes
