About the role
Reporting into the Guest Experience Manager you will be responsible for leading the operations of the Concierge Team. You will respond to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.

What you will do

Interview, train and schedule the Concierge Staff. Supervise day-to-day performance of the staff. Coach staff to achieve Core and Service Culture standards. Conduct performance reviews. Discipline staff as needed.Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, inhouse events, directions, etc. Respond to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices.Assure that Concierge Staff knows what activities are available in the city (theatre, sports, concerts, shows, special exhibits, sightseeing) and establish close contacts with vendors in these areas in order to provide information, ticketing, and reservations for guests. Assure that desk collateral and information for restaurants, museums, attractions, maps, and other local attractions are updated and currentProcess packages, faxes, messages, and mail which may be either outgoing or incoming in an accurate and timely manner.Work closely with Front Desk, Reservations and Door Staff to assure smooth handling of guest arrivals and departures.

What you bring

Experience in a diversity of operational rooms division management positions with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role within Front Office or Concierge, focusing on service quality.You will have a special talent for ensuring our employees feel at home and promoting a continuous learning environment that creates an atmosphere for professional development opportunities, being a passionate and motivated leader with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teamsHave the highest level of integrity and transparency, strong business acumen, a passion for service and an exceptional eye for detail, and a desire to.Ability to read, speak and write English and Italian.

Schedule & Hours:

This is a full-time position

The candidate must have a flexible schedule and work also on weekends and holidays.

This position is an Assistant Manager role. This position is based at the San Domenico Palace in Taormina and the contract is seasonal. You must possess the legal right to work in Italy.
