**JOB SUMMARY:**
The HE&R Manager will have functional leadership responsibility for the HE&R leveraged service in Korea for specified Medical Device Business Units. Role will include development and execution of robust reimbursement strategy for driving market access for Abbott’s medical device technologies in Korea.
Proactive thinking, strategic mindset, willingness to think innovatively, and demonstrating leadership qualities are an integral part of this role.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Lead health economics and reimbursement leveraged service in Korea. Develop long-term and short-term reimbursement strategies for obtaining optimal and timely coverage of Abbott medical device technologies, as well as potential HTAs, revaluations, among other access related tasks.
+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal customers, including Country BU leaders, and cross functional partners, as well as operate as a well-integrated part of the APAC and Global HE&R organization.
+ Align internally to develop annual HE&R Korea goals and partner extensively with cross functional teams for strategy development and execution.
+ Develop strong external relationships with the likes of MoHW, HIRA, NECA, academia, industry association, among others to develop and carry out HE&R strategy in Korea
+ Prepare robust reimbursement submissions and secure approvals to meet the objectives and targets set internally and meet local requirements and data requests in a timely manner.
+ Development of the health economic material for HTA and other submissions, in close cooperating with internal teams, academic societies, clinical, regulatory and HE&R team.
+ Be aware of and fully abide by the corresponding regulations, and guidelines in Korea
+ Preparation and review of submission for each business unit and correspondence with Product Division and Regional HE&R Affiliates.
+ Manage the process to undergo re-evaluation project against potential risks.
+ Build a knowledgeable, experienced, coherent HE&R brand and team to support the business objectives of the company.
+ Plan and manage the budget of the Health Economics & Reimbursement function in Korea in accordance with APAC HE&R leader guidance.
+ Execute other HE&R and Abbott related tasks as assigned by manager.
