Head of Account Management - Luxury markets (IT/FR/CH/ES)

The Head of Account Management – Luxury markets will work closely with our Italian, French, Swiss & Spanish international Sales teams to ensure commercial multi-market campaigns distributed on our Global titles are planned & managed faultlessly, and advertiser goals & revenue targets are met and exceeded. The Head of Account Management will work closely & collaboratively with the team Director to set out a vision & strategy for the team’s Account management function handling the 4 key revenue-driving Luxury markets, as well as establish & finessing new processes as necessary. The role manages 3 headcounts of Account managers/Account directors who are responsible for Digital campaign strategy & centralised media planning, booking & pipeline management, and maintaining an overarching/360 overview of all campaigns generated out of the 4 regions ensuring client success at all times. As well as building strong relationships with senior Global Sales stakeholders based across ITA/ES/FR and CH, the role will be supporting the team’s Director in building & managing relationships with the entire Global Hearst eco-system (consisting of international Owned & Operated Hearst offices, as well as Licensees and JVs). 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

Lead & manage the Account Management sub-team responsible for media strategy & planning across IT/ES/FR/CH client patches within Global Client Success Support and work collaboratively with team Director and with two other leads reporting into Director to unphold best in class team standards  Collaborate with your allocated international sales teams patches to improve processes, ensure commercial operations success that meets revenue targets and trouble-shoot campaign planning and management as needed  Provide hands-on, operational support (media planning, client liaison, end of campaign reporting among others) as needed based on team bandwidth, support needed on key high-revenue accounts and more business-critical strategic partnerships Ensure the Account management team you’re leading works efficiently, is commercially aware & driven and provides sellers & clients with accurate, well thought-through and timely responses  Build long-term relationships with agencies, client, sales and global publisher contacts through regular communication including email, phone and in person meetings  Proactively look for ways to enable your allocated sales patches (IT/ES/FR/CH) to add value for the agency and client, resulting in incremental revenue being driven by Global Client success Manage your hub’s pipeline and be responsible for pacing to budget at all times across all relevant markets Be aware of relevant campaign initiatives being booked by clients in local markets and how this fits with global investments in-pitch and/or booked  Run business review meetings with key senior stakeholders in our supported Sales teams in order to review previous activity, and inspire & educate sellers to drive incremental revenue thanks to upsells

ABOUT YOU
 

Italian language preferred Has previous experience in media/publisher/tech relatable business at mid to senior level Has previous team management experience  Deep understanding of international nuances in different countries (language, culture etc) Excellent in managing multiple stakeholders  Incredibly commercially aware and sales driven Strives for results and excellent customer service Confident & comfortable with clients and other external contacts Excellent time management and prioritization skills; able to work effectively under pressure Collaborative attitude is essential in working across multiple markets with diverse cultures Flexible, personable attitude; ability to develop excellent professional relationships with all level of personnel Proactive and enjoys a varied role that never gets boring Exceptional attention to detail Ability to achieve results through influence and problem solving Self-motivated, team player
