Head of Agency Production & Finance Operations

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partner with the agency to design and stand up a centralized production capability that meets the needs of all commercial markets and is right-sized to match global production volume.

Lead a team of subject matter experts across agency production and finance operations to ensure rigorous financial and production operations for over 200+ product and agency teams.

Forecast annual agency spend and production volume to support long-range financial forecasts and inform executive decision-making.

Hold the agency accountable for ensuring the quality and timely delivery of content and oversee supporting vendors that manage production. Support the agency in capacity and demand planning for efficient delivery.

Manage the transition of CFC digital content and other production vendors to a centralized model, ensuring strong deployment without business disruption.

Hold the agency accountable to excellence by designing, negotiating, and executing contracts for centralized services, ensuring commitments are effectively measured via KPIs and tracked for continuous improvement and cost savings.

Ensure that strong financial and account management best practices are implemented across over 200+ account teams globally.

Set and continuously track and report key performance metrics across the global production model. Ensure the content factory and hubs are delivering on time, with high quality, and rapidly troubleshoot issues.

Serve as a single point of contact for four unique HUBs for managing escalations and issue resolution.

Design and provide oversight of budgeting and SOWs via the SOW methodology and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and reconciliation.

Ensure adherence to procurement "rules of the road" and utilization of new production pathways and application of AI to drive efficiencies.

Partner closely with CMO vertical leadership, finance leadership, and procurement to roll out agency financial processes and ways of working across all markets.

Partner closely with the Agency CEO, Head of Pfizer account, and agency leadership across key relationships and functions to ensure production operations and financial rigor.

Facilitate clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including presenting updates to executive leadership, facilitating communication between different teams or departments, and negotiating with vendors and partners.

Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to production, financial operations, or vendor management to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Applicant must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 12 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 10 years of experience; OR a PhD with 7+ years of relevant experience.

Previous roles as a procurement, marketing operations, or agency leader, with a robust understanding of agency management, production pathways, and financial operations at a global scale.

Proven track record of driving operational transformation of marketing capabilities at both the enterprise and global levels.

Deep understanding of financial and operational data, with expert knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Ability to leverage data analytics to drive decision-making, demonstrating strong financial and analytical acumen.

Strong leadership and people management abilities, with the ability to influence and engage senior leadership across commercial and technical functions.

Strong understanding of the agency production process, content development technologies, delivery channels, and marketer needs and user journey.

Excellent communication, presentation, and people engagement skills, including strong executive presence.

Role model for the PFE Values (Courage, Excellence, Equity, and Joy).

Experience or familiarity with AI and other advanced technologies, as they relate to production and operational efficiencies.

Well-versed in the Pfizer organization, particularly with commercial and enabling/partner functions.

Possesses a high energy level, sense of urgency, creativity, decisiveness, and the ability to work hard and well under pressure.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $204,700.00 to $341,100.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
