Head of Australia Sales, Software, Regulatory and Compliance Solutions
About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 14 The Role: Head of Australia Sales, Software, Regulatory and Compliance Solutions We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our sales efforts for Australia, focusing on our suite of software, regulatory and compliance products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, a deep understanding of financial technology, and a strong grasp of regulatory and compliance needs within the financial sector. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our market presence in Australia. Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and positioning our products as solutions to their challenges. Drive sales of our comprehensive software suite, including Cappitech, Corporate Actions, EDM, Tax Solutions, and thinkFolio, ensuring clients benefit from enhanced data management and workflow efficiencies. Promote our regulatory and compliance products, including Certificate Compliance, CLM Pro, Investor Onboarding, ISDA Amend, KYC, Onboarding Accelerator, and Outreach 360, to address complex compliance and onboarding requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure client satisfaction and product alignment with market demands. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and identify new business opportunities. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums, enhancing our brand visibility and thought leadership. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus. Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales leadership within the financial technology sector - experience in EDM and post-trade solutions highly preferred. Strong knowledge of financial software solutions and regulatory compliance requirements. Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies and achieve sales targets. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive performance. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages relevant to Asia Pacific is desirable.
