What you'll do:
As the Head of Automation Design, you will be leading the design and delivery of physical automation solutions through all project phases, from designing and building to testing and handover. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you will ensure that solutions align with business requirements, integrate seamlessly across the organisation, and support efficient, productive, cost-effective, and safe operational processes. 

Your role will involve using your operational and automation expertise to validate, challenge, and enhance automation designs and equipment specifications, ensuring they meet requirements, maximise reliability, and minimise whole life costs. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing changes to project scope, programme, budget, risks, and mitigations, reporting on project progress to stakeholders and senior management, and contributing to the development of a robust project development and execution process.
