Head of Bid Support
Accountabilities:
1. Lead the development and implementation of the bid support strategy for transformation, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives.2. Review and optimise current bid support processes, identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.3. Oversee all bid support activities for transformation and provide inputs to the bid team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality bids within the stipulated timelines.4. Collaborate with transformation team colleagues and key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure integration and alignment of bid support activities with other business functions.5. Develop and maintain the transformation bid library and work with transformation colleagues and other key stakeholders to identify differentiators to support bid strategies.6. Manage and mitigate risks associated with the bid process. Provide regular reports to senior management on bid support performance and delivery progress.7. Promote innovation and ideation within transformation to drive standardisation, re-use and a culture of continuous improvement for bid engagement and delivery.

Salary Banding: £60,000 - £70,000

Qualifications & ExperienceEssential• Proven experience in bid management or the provision of high-quality bid inputs, with an indepth understanding of bid processes and best practices, preferably within a similar industry and environment.• Excellent team working, collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and challenge at all levels of the organisation.• Strong knowledge of bid support processes and best practices including bid library management.• Strong understanding of transformation delivery expectations and methodologies.• Excellent communication both verbal and written and proven ability to deliver quality outputs.• Resilience and excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure to challenging timescales particularly during bid submission periods.• Ability to meet tight deadlines
Desirable• Experience in a similar industry and transformation environment is preferable.

Travel RequirementsThe role is remote but must be able to travel to locations across the UK when required.
